Fundacji Sempre a Frente, Poland
Sempre a Frente Foundation is a non-governmental organisation based in Lublin, Poland, working to support the mental health, well-being and social development of children and young people. The name Sempre a Frente means “always forward” and reflects the organisation’s belief that growing up can be supported through strong relationships, accessible help and community-based action.
Since 2010, Sempre a Frente has implemented preventive, educational and support programmes for children, adolescents and young adults. Its work combines non-formal education with psychological and therapeutic approaches, focusing on strengthening social competences, resilience and active participation in society.
At the Child Advocacy Centre in Lublin, the organisation provides comprehensive support to children and adolescents aged 0–18 who have experienced harm, as well as to their parents and caregivers. The support includes psychological assistance, therapeutic and developmental group activities, psychiatric and legal support, and consultations with social workers.
Sempre a Frente also runs the Youth Information and Development Centre in Lublin, offering young people access to information, counselling and development opportunities. Through this centre, the organisation promotes youth participation, civic engagement and social responsibility, supporting young people in developing initiative, entrepreneurship and active citizenship.
In addition, Sempre a Frente contributes to youth policy development by facilitating dialogue between young people and decision-makers. It organises workshops, debates and meetings, including activities within the annual Youth Activity Festival. The organisation collaborates closely with primary and secondary schools, universities, local authorities and community partners.
Each year, Sempre a Frente’s activities reach more than 4,000 children and young people, contributing to more inclusive, supportive and child-centred communities.
